The name dwarf house is changed to chick fil a by the time of 1946.they are about 2300 no of restaurants in the united states in 47 states of the country including 48th as Hawaii. They serve breakfast as well as with lunch dinner. Their off day is Sunday.so no food item will available on Sunday.

History:

In 1946 Mr. s. Truett Cathy who is CEO and chairman of the food hub established this company which was named as the dwarf house. After that, it changes to chick fil a.

“We did not invent the chicken, but the chicken sandwiches” it the official slogan of chick a fil restaurant.

The first branch is opened in 1967 in Atlanta. And after that chain is crossed in many other cities.in October 15 company opened the three stored off about 5000 sq. Ft restaurant in Manhattan which was the largest chick-fil-a restaurant at that time.

Locations:

As earlier said chick-e fil restaurant opens its restaurant all over the united states. As they are popular for chicken sandwiches.

They also open up their branches internationally. In many countries including Canada, South Africa.

Canada- in the month of Sept 1994 the first outside location of chick-fil-a over the united states was in Canada. but due to some reason, it is closed within two and a half year.

After that, they are back in 2014 at Canada beside the departure of flights. And they correct their mistake and made restaurant popular in Canada again. usually, Sunday and Christmas day are off days but they celebrate it as thanksgiving day in Canada.

South Africa- in Aug 1996 they build a restaurant in Durban(SA). and same as like Canada due to some reason restaurant in South Africa was closed.

Business Strategy:

Chick-fil-a business strategy was just to concentrate on a simple menu and serving good customer service. Other restaurants expand their food items menu for attracting people. but chick-fil-a focuses on chicken sandwiches only.

The ‘A’ in the name Chick-Fil-A I represents the that A grade chicken quality. Emphasis on service allowed chick-fil-A to lead fast food hub in customer satisfaction.

Working only 6 days per week Chick-fil-A grossing average of 4.8 million per restaurant in 2016.

Sunday closure- Mr. Cathy’s beliefs are the main thing responsible for the betterment of restaurant. All the restaurants are closed on Sunday and Christmas days.

These days usually celebrate it as a way of honoring God and of directing towards the thing which mattered.
